Lake Murray State Park

Lake Murray is Oklahoma’s first and largest state park, covering about 12,500 acres around clear blue water just south of Ardmore. The day can be as active as you want: swimming, paddling, boating, fishing, hiking, golf, ATV trails, or a visit to Tucker Tower. The lodge, cabins, campgrounds, marinas, and scenic shoreline make it more than a quick overlook.
From The Whistlestop, plan on a short drive south and decide your target before leaving—the park is large and has multiple entrances and recreation areas.
